The “Noorlander Organ Experience Night” was a great success!
Over 850 organ lovers enjoyed image and sound around the organ in a full house in the AFAS Theater in Leusden. Noorlander Organs presented the 5-manual replica of the console of the Cavaillé-Coll organ of the St. Sulpice in Paris. A pipe front that is look-a-like of the large front completes the design. The console is equipped with advanced digital techniques such as Oled displays, automatic draw stops and features the Sweelinq virtual organ software. The organ was commissioned by AFAS theater director Herman Zondag, a great organ enthusiast!
Evan Bogerd, Jean-Paul Imbert and Jan Vayne performed on the organ, and also demonstrated the samplesets developed in recent months for Sweelinq, such as the mighty Hinsz-organ of the Bovenkerk Kampen and the magnificant Müller-organ of the Jacobijnerkerk Leeuwarden. Also the sample set of the special Kleuker organ of Alp d Huez was introduced by the regular organist Jean Paul Imbert.
We look back on a fantastic event, which will be followed up in 2023.
