In the Reformed Church in Harskamp (NL) an impressive new organ has been placed. Noorlander Organs has installed a magnificent Hauptwerk organ with an elaborate 3 manual console. It has been played for the first time during a concert with a choir held on the 15th of December. It proves that Hauptwerk is very suitable for accompanying congregational singing.
The sound they chose is the sample set of the organ of the Trinity Episcopal Cathedral in Prortland (USA). This is a versatile instrument with on the one hand a clear and baroque sound and on the other hand a warm and smooth romantic sound. This give the organists the opportunity to play a wide repertoire of music.
