The sample set of the Rosales organ in the Trinity Episcopal Cathedral, Portland, Oregon (USA), can be bought in our web shop.
The organ is built in 1984-1987 by Manual Rosales and it has 54 stops which are divided on 3 manuals (Positive, Great, Swell) and Pedal. The sound can best be described as neo-baroque in concept with a (French)-romantic gesture. Others might say that it is American-eclectic with a (French)-romantic gesture. The registration possibilities are almost limitless and may vary from soft strings on the Swell to a grand 16-foot plenum with the Contra Trombone 32’ in the Pedal.
Because the organ has been recorded in the 6-channel surround technique, the organist can determine if he wants to hear the sound close to the organ case or a bit further in the church. The short reverb of approximately 2 seconds makes this an excellent sample set for study purposes or for use in churches.
